Casting - Male Dancer

New Creations Collective are casting one male dancer for their upcoming immersive production of “Swan Lake”. We are looking for a male dancer with very strong classical technique, excellent partnering skills and good acting ability.

This will be an online casting and shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview and possibly an open class in May. Please see the details below:

 

Confirmed Performance Dates 

Saturday 28th June - Penshurst Place, Kent 

Saturday 22nd November - Derby Cathedral, Derby

 

There is a strong possibility of more performance dates being added.

Rehearsals 

2 x days during week commencing 23rd June - tbc depending on studio availability. Rehearsals will be at The Howard Venue in Kent. 

 

Fee

Rehearsal Days - £120 p/day

Performance Fees - £150 p/day plus a travel allowance for each venue.

 

The piece is a pas de deux and will be 15-20mins in length and performed several times at each venue. There will be both indoor and outdoor performances.

 

How To Apply

Please read the following very carefully and provide all the requested information and material as we cannot consider incomplete applications.

Please send your CV, headshot, up to three dance photos plus a video link of a classical solo. As this is an online casting it is vital that this footage is recent footage, filmed within the last year and a true reflection of your current performance ability.

-That you have the right to work in the UK

-Where you are based

-Height in ft

-If you are a driver (not essential but useful to know)
