MINNIE
MICHLMAYR - Company Apprentice
I grew up in the Norfolk countryside where I started ballet at the age of 2 at my local dance school and fell in love with it instantly. I adored being able to move and challenge my body.
Since then I have trained vocationally at KS dance under the guidance of Miss Simmons who spent a lot of time bringing me out of my shell into the versatile and enthusiastic dancer I am today. I’ve been blessed by also having the opportunity to be tutored by members of studio Wayne McGregor and Semperoper ballet.

I am currently in my final year at KS dance. In my time at the school, I was lucky enough to be chosen to perform at the CDMT show in London debuting the piece ‘relativity’ and I’ve performed at CYD and move it with the same piece. I will be performing soloist and corps de ballet roles in our latest production of Alice in Wonderland.

I am constantly trying to improve myself as a dancer as the industry constantly changes, I have a great interest in choreography and creativity, so I will enjoy being part of a new and creative collective of professionals.

I am looking forward to working with the like minded and creative individuals of the New Creations Collective and to put together the new production ‘Nightingale’.
