Ryan Upton trained at the Northern Ballet School, upon graduating he made his professional debut as Romeo in Feelgood Theatre’s Romeo & Juliet after which he moved to America dancing with Mystic Ballet in Connecticut for several years where he danced principal roles and toured internationally.

 

Since returning to the UK he has taught/choreographed for vocational colleges and universities across the country as well as touring nationally in various classical and contemporary productions.

Most recently, Ryan danced as Jack Frost in the West End production of The Snowman. Ryan has had his choreography presented at Sadler’s Wells for the ballet gala Unite for Ukraine and most recently choreographed for Welsh National Opera's critically acclaimed production of ‘Blaze of Glory!’

 

After dancing in The Secret Garden last year Ryan is very excited to be returning to New Creations Collective this year.
